Switch from Hostinger SSL to docstoc SSL/TLS

Migration steps

1. Inventory what Hostinger SSL is doing today

   If leaving Hostinger hosting, issue docstoc SSL on the new host/DNS first, then cancel Hostinger services you no longer need.

2. Add the domain in docstoc

   Sign in, open SSL certificates, and add the hostname. docstoc starts an ACME order and shows the DNS TXT challenge to publish.

3. Publish one DNS TXT record

   Create the TXT record at your DNS provider. You do not need to change nameservers or put traffic through a CDN proxy for validation.

4. Verify issuance

   Use Check status in docstoc. When DNS is visible, a real Let's Encrypt certificate is issued. Leave the TXT record in place for renewals.

5. Retire the old Hostinger SSL path

   After HTTPS works via docstoc, cancel paid seats or disable old renewal jobs at Hostinger SSL so you are not charged twice.

What transfers (and what does not)

You keep your domain and DNS provider. Certificate private keys and commercial warranty programs do not transfer — docstoc issues a fresh Let's Encrypt DV certificate with automated renewal instead.
