1. Bond Posted

Bail Bond Company agrees to post a bail bond of [Amount] with [Court Name] to secure Defendant's release from custody, in exchange for the premium and terms below.

2. Premium

Indemnitor/Defendant will pay Bail Bond Company a non-refundable premium of [Amount, typically 10-15% of the bond amount], due [Terms — e.g. at signing, or per a payment plan].

3. Collateral (if applicable)

[Describe any collateral pledged to secure the bond — e.g. a vehicle title, property, or cash — and the conditions for its release once the case concludes.]

4. Indemnitor's Obligations

Indemnitor agrees to ensure Defendant appears at all required court dates and to notify Bail Bond Company immediately of any change in Defendant's address or circumstances.

5. Forfeiture and Indemnification

If Defendant fails to appear in court, the full bond amount [Amount] is forfeited to the court, and Indemnitor agrees to reimburse Bail Bond Company for this full amount, plus any costs incurred in locating and apprehending Defendant.

6. Release of Collateral

Upon final disposition of the case (dismissal, acquittal, or conviction with all court appearances completed), and confirmation that no forfeiture occurred, any collateral pledged will be released back to Indemnitor.

7. Right to Surrender Defendant

Bail Bond Company retains the right to surrender Defendant to custody if it reasonably believes Defendant poses a flight risk, without liability to Indemnitor for doing so.
